FAQs: Can I move prospects to a new sequence after a campaign is live?
Short answer: Not retroactively β but here's what you can do for each group.
When you update your campaign messaging, it's natural to want all your prospects to receive the new version. Here's how it works depending on each prospect's current status:
π΅ Suggestions Prospects that haven't been actioned yet will automatically be enrolled in whichever sequence is currently active. No action needed β just make sure your updated sequence is live before new outreach begins.
π‘ Pending (connection request sent, not yet accepted) These prospects are already mid-flow. Once they accept your connection request, they'll continue following the original sequence they were enrolled in. It's not possible to switch them to a new sequence at this stage.
π’ Connected (already accepted) Prospects who are connected but haven't replied also stay on their original sequence. The best way to reach them with your updated messaging is through a Re-engagement Campaign β a dedicated campaign type designed to restart the conversation with connected prospects using fresh copy.
β Best Practice If you're planning a messaging refresh, try to do it before launching a new batch of outreach. For existing prospects already in motion, use Re-engagement to bring them into your new flow.
