How do I connect the Samplead MCP to Claude or ChatGPT?

The Samplead MCP connects your Samplead account directly to Claude or ChatGPT. Instead of switching between tools, you can manage your entire outbound workflow from a single AI chat — approve or reject prospects, adjust your ICP, upload lists, export data, and write campaigns, all using plain text commands.

It's especially useful when you want to make quick decisions on the go, run bulk actions without logging into the dashboard, or let AI help you refine your targeting mid-conversation.

Connect in Claude:

1. Make sure Samplead is open and active in your profile
2. Go to claude.ai → Customize → Connectors
3. Click "+" → "Add custom connector"
4. Set Name = Samplead
5. Set Remote MCP server URL = https://dashboard.samplead.co/api/mcp/mcp
6. Skip Advanced settings → click Add
7. Find Samplead in the connectors list → click Connect → Authorize

Connect in ChatGPT:

1. Make sure Samplead is open and active in your profile
2. Open ChatGPT in your web browser (not the desktop app)
3. Go to Account icon → Settings → Apps → Advanced Settings
4. Turn on Developer Mode
5. Click "Create App" and fill in:
   • Name = Samplead
   • MCP Server URL = https://dashboard.samplead.co/api/mcp/mcp
   • Authentication = OAuth
   • Check "I understand…" → click Create
6. Samplead authorization page will pop up → click Authorize
